How to Refresh Your JVC Camcorder Battery

You can recharge a
JVC BN-BP31 camcorder battery
using the AC adapter included with the camcorder. Instead of using a separate charger, the battery for the JVC camcorder can be recharged while still connected to the camcorder. If you are replacing your
JVC GR-1U camcorder battery
, make sure to use a battery either from JVC or supported by JVC. Using a different battery can cause damage to the camcorder and the battery.

1Insert the JVC camcorder battery into the slot on the back of the camera. The arrow marking on the battery should face up.

2Push the battery up, toward the top of the camera, until it clicks into place.

3Insert the AC adapter into the jack just above the battery.

4Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet. A light next to where you plugged in the AC adapter will begin to blink. When the light goes out, the battery is fully charged.
