How can I stick organza ribbon to card?

I’m making my own wedding invitations and need to find a way to stick organza type ribbon to card. Obviously normal glue like pritt stick will come through the ribbon and make it sticky, are there any ways to do it without making all the ribbon sticky? Would glue dots work, or some sort of spray glue? Any suggestions much appreciated!

I would poke holes in the cards and tie them on.
